Notey is a way to securely share sensitive information between two parties. All notes that are shared with Notey are encrypted using symmetric key encryption. Because the secret key is not stored on the server, this method is 100% secure. The encryption method uses the Rijndael block cipher, which is the basis of the encryption standard AES. This method of encryption is approved for use by the U.S. government when storing top secret documents.
